Many harsh critics of immigration claim the absurd, when trying to win supporters. They claim that immigrants are ruining America. They claim that it takes jobs away from Americans.
But the immigrants are here to be Americans themselves.
And the only natural born Americans are the various Indian tribes.
This means we’re all immigrants.
The average hourly Hispanic employees that have been with my companies in the unskilled hourly worker class have made around $2.00 more per hour than the native-born Caucasians or African-Americans.

We grow up with stereotypes. If we see a guy with black rimmed glasses and a pocket protector with slide rule - we automatically think 'geek'. For all we really know, he could be serial killer who chokes his victims with math instruments.
But what we see is what we want to see. Whether we like it or not; we initially judge books by the cover.
As the old saying goes "The first impression is the only impression" - so we need to make the most of it; and especially in the workplace.

Managers are people. And just like anyone else, they too have to be managed. Even managers are known to let their hair down, as soon as the big boss turns the corner.
Managers left unsupervised can become just as complacent, irresponsible, and damaging as bad employees. Absolute power, if left in the wrong hands, can ruin both a business and career.
If you’re their boss; your held responsible for what they do or don’t do; even when your not around.
If you’re their co-worker, they can get you in trouble too; especially if the place looks like crap upon the boss’s return. You’ll be Guilty by Proximity; or Guilty by Association; if you are known to be friends with them.
